Selecting this block will present up to 3 fields, depending on the media type selected. You can read more on the available fields under each media type below.

Media Type #

Here you have the option to choose which type of media you would like to use. The available types are:

Image #

The image media type allows you to upload or select from an already uploaded image file. The recommended types are PNG, JPG and WEBP, however, BMP and GIF’s are supported but not recommended.

When the image media type is selected you will see the file upload field, you will just need to click the “Add Image” button where you will be presented with the media browser. Here you can upload the allowed images or select from one you have uploaded on a preview page or post.

Video #

The video media type allows you to either upload or embed a YouTube video. By default the Video type allows you to upload an MP4 video. This can be done by clicking the “Select File” button, where you will then be presented with the media browser. From here you can select a video you have uploaded to a previous page/post or you can upload a new one.

If you would like to embed a YouTube video, you will see the “Video Source” field, if you set this to the YouTube option, you will see that a URL entry field appears. All you need to do, is to paste the URL to the YouTube video. You can do this by selecting the URL at the top in your browser, or clicking “Share” on YouTube and copying the URL it provides. This will then automatically embed the video onto the page for you.

*If you click share on YouTube, do not use the embed option. The website automatically handles this for you.
